ABOUT ME – MY PROFILE

I am a seasoned professional with extensive research and administrative experience, possessing over 25 years’ business experience in progressively expanded roles.

Over the past nine-year period, I have been engaged with two well respected Professional Services firms in the Financial Advisory divisions, and worked with the Project Finance (‘P3′) and Real Estate Services groups. Prior to joining these firms, I worked in Real Estate, Government, and Personnel Consultancy, in both Vancouver and Alberta.

Following a lay-off due to ‘job redundancy’ in March 2009, I decided to create my very first personal blog, which was an enjoyable, albeit at times frustrating learning experience, which resulted in my site  gaining popularity relatively quickly. 

This success encouraged me to explore and challenge my ‘entrepreneurial’ spirit, as I became more involved with professional HR organizations, and several professional groups on LinkedIn. Feeling there was a need for a dedicated site to support and encourage the under-valued Administrative Professionals group, I created CorporateSecrets-AdminPro.blogspot.com, which I have modified and developed into the site it is today. 

I now write on a number of business sites by request, and enjoy recognition and popularity with several article submission sites as well, including an E-News site.

I firmly believe that a positive, proactive attitude is an absolute necessity to succeed in anything we decide to take on in life. For those of you that are gainfully employed today, I humbly suggest to you that adopting a positive, proactive attitude, and actively contributing to your firm’ success by going above and beyond will aid you greatly throughout your career.

MY SERVICES

My research-based services are provided in order to meet your firm’ requirements in this area, and will provide you with a value added advantage’ over your competition. My services encompass the provision of competitive intelligence and the potential for viable business development opportunities through my resourceful techniques, and my instinctive proactive approach to adding value for your firm.

My services are available to your firm on a contractual basis for an agreed upon period. Based upon your specific requirements, my work will be performed in compliance with our agreement either in-house, off-site, or in a balanced blend of each’ as deemed appropriate. I am open to accepting long-term contracts should that be more suitable for your project needs.

 

EXPERTISE

My technical areas of expertise are in Word Processing, Data Entry, Database Management, Internet Research and Business Development, and Marketing.

I will employ all of these skills to provide the following services to your firm: 

‘Research’  providing ‘up-to-date’ client information, and/or relevant data on your ‘pursuits’;

‘Competitive Intelligence’ up-to-date competitor information through various resources;

Business Development’ with an eye to capturing ‘revenue-producing’ contracts for your firm; and

‘Word Processing & Data Entry’ services on a contractual ‘per – project’ basis at reasonable hourly or daily rates. These services include PowerPoint, Excel, Access Database Management, Graphics, Proofreading, and Design Layout.*

 

*Please note, my rates are competitive with those charged through Personnel Agencies for a ‘temp’ hire.

I am open to negotiation of an hourly or daily rate, contingent upon the project requirements. I will be pleased to meet with you to elaborate on my services, and discuss your project requirements, and will provide professional references at that time. My preferred on-site’ location is in the downtown core of Vancouver, which I can reach within 10-15 minutes.

To accommodate your needs on ‘large, time sensitive projects’ and/or spontaneous ‘rush’ jobs or document recovery, I will avail myself to you at all reasonable hours, including evenings, Monday through Saturday in order to successfully meet or beat your deadline prior to client delivery. I type approximately 120 words per minute with high accuracy and professional quality output.
