As I ran through scenarios in my head, imagining interviewer responses to various ‘one-word’ descriptions I could try, I realized that I was searching for a word that was the best true description, and that in itself led me to my key word: “honest”.

However, based on my experience in the business world, I know that employers are not looking for honesty; they want mindless obedience. Does that mean I have to put “cynical”?
